Christmas Lights? Already? Then we need to capture those gorgeous lights and have fun while doing it!
As it happened during the previous Photowalk, the forecast was not so inviting, some of us were worried that the rain would disturb our MeetUp. On the contrary, the weather played along and (most) of the Photowalk was dry and we actually benefitted from the water as it multiplied the Christmas lights by providing us with fantastic reflections on the streets. Once again the courageous benefitted and we got amazing photos! As Kurt wrote on the comments, “there is no such thing as bad weather!”.
After the traditional meeting to grab a cup of coffee, we started to walk around the narrow streets between Zürich’s Old Town and Bahnhofstrasse. We took a long time enjoying the numerous photo opportunities and playing with the lights until we finally arrived at Bahnhofstrasse. As we got there we were greeted by the amazing decoration and by light rain, which soon decided to pick-up for some brief moments, just enough to supercharge the reflections. Oh, my! The already gorgeous city was even better!
