Our Breakup Policy (a.k.a. Cancellation Policy)

are we breaking up?

Hey there, we get it. Commitments can be scary, and sometimes, things just don’t work out. Breaking up with a course is a lot like ending a relationship. It’s important to us that if we have to part ways, we do it in the best way possible for both parties. We’re all about making this process as painless and fair as possible. So, here’s how we handle breakups:

  1. More than 20 days before the course start date: It’s like realizing you’re not ready for a relationship before it even starts. You’ll get a full refund, minus any pesky taxes/costs incurred.
  2. Between 20 and 8 days before the course start date: This is the “it’s not you, it’s me” phase. You’ll get a 50% refund unless you find a suitable replacement who’s willing to take your place. In that case, you’ll get a full refund after the replacement’s payment is fully processed, minus any applicable taxes and costs.
  3. 7 days or less before the course start date: This is the “we need to talk” phase. Unfortunately, there’s no refund at this point, unless you find a suitable replacement who’s willing to step in. If that happens, you’ll get a full refund after the replacement’s payment is fully processed, minus any applicable taxes and costs.

Remember, it’s your responsibility to find a suitable replacement if you decide to break up with us within 20 days of the course start date. We’re here to help, so let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel. We promise to handle it with care and understanding.

On the other side (quite literally), if the cancellation comes from CHaya or any of our instructors, you will be fully refunded. The same applies if there are overwhelming circumstances (pandemics, wars, and alien invasion, just to mention some).

So, that’s our breakup policy. We hope it won’t come to that, but if it does, we’re committed to making it as smooth as possible. After all, who knows? Maybe we can still be friends. 😊
