Even more releases for 2012? After a bunch of new and awesome releases, there come some more rumors on the Nikon court. According to the web buzz, the Japanese manufacturer would have another model in development besides the D400. This new and yet to be confirmed release would be called the D600.
As the rumors pop, specs are still more guesses than actual rumors or leaks. It is expected to be an entry level full frame DSLR, below the D800 and probably its predecessor, the D700. The new camera should have many of the known gimmicks, such as:
- Auto DX crop mode,
- dual SD card slots,
- built-in time-lapse function,
- in-camera RAW editing,
- new external battery grip and
- GPS.
If these rumors do come true, the release date should be expected around mid-2012.
Do I believe this? There might be fire under this smoke, but it is nothing more than speculation at this time.
