We have already written about the light leak issue on 5D3’s illuminated panel. Now Canon issued a product advisory stating that “when the LCD panel illuminates in extremely dark environments, the displayed exposure value may change”. The manufacturer claims this change in exposure value will not really affect the image, but should you want them to inspect your camera, they will do it free of charge upon request beginning in mid-May.
