We anticipated in this Blog that the release date expected to February 28th was not that reliable. As this was confirmed, many of the Canon enthusiasts were disappointed, but no worries, the new D day is just around the corner.
All rumors believe that the new pro level body from the Japanese maker is to be announced on March 2nd, along with some lenses, probably the new 590 strobe and hopefully another camera. While we wait a little longer, why not take the time to review the long awaited specs and put some more fantasy to the new toy?
Rumored specs (as already released before):
- 22 Megapixel Sensor
- 61 AF points
- 100% optical coverage
- Use both Compact Flash and SD cards
- Expected price range about US$3,500
