Today is the International Women’s Day and I’d like to take this moment and post to thank this better, brighter and more evolved side of mankind.
Share this with a special woman who you would like to feel special today!
Before that I’d like to begin with two comments:
1. I must confess I do not agree with one day to remember and celebrate women. Looks like today all women are special, tomorrow it’s back to regular life. Women are and should be special and celebrated every day
2. from the way the world looks today, there are plenty of people who need to say ‘sorry’ before saying ‘congrats on your day’
I chose this special photo from Ms. Willliams to illustrate this post and I am grateful for having had the chance to photograph her for Chanel and for the results of that shooting that we both loved.
I would like to thank all women for being the lighter part of our lives, for keeping up with us regardless of the abyss of differences between our genders, for making our lives a better place to live. You don’t deserve to be equal to men, you are so much better!
Without women the days would be gray and tasteless.
