Business Manager with an MBA and post-MBA in Kellogg University/USA.

Creative professional with many fields of actuation. Initially a Business Manager; Finance and Strategy senior executive and Marketing Consultant for Brazil’s largest banks and credit card issuers, he left the comforts of the big corporations’ life to venture as an entrepreneur: Photographer; Diving Instructor and Events.

Cesar has been teaching for more than 20 years and has amassed a lot of experience in the field. His light style and playful way of uncovering even the most complex concepts make learning easier and fun.

A Very Short Bio

His interest in images started as a kid in Brazil when he got his first contact with an ancient plastic camera. A really bad plastic camera. From that to borrowing his father’s Olympus OM-10 and the first photography course around 1987 was a slow walk that led to learning about photography, darkroom techniques, film, light and the ‘modernities’ of the analogue film era. By that time, he had already started to make and distribute short films in VHS with what would be an insane workflow by modern standards: editing tape between video cassette recorders.

He is an intense and passionate creative professional with many fields of actuation: Business Manager; Finance, Strategy and Marketing Consultant for the largest banks and credit card issuers in Brazil. After achieving success in that previous career he dared to make a difficult decision and leave the comforts of senior management in big corporations to venture as an entrepreneur: Photographer; Diving Instructor and events in Zürich and Winterthur.

Cesar makes the most of his unique advantages from such a different background and embraces it to channel the experience and knowledge from the many corporate years to different markets and businesses, creating solutions that innovate, challenge the norms and bring a fresh new view to everyday problems and needs. All these spiced up by a view from the other side of the Atlantic and a different and warmer way to treat customers and address challenges.

The experience and the technical knowledge complement the dedication to capture images and work them to achieve high-quality results. Technology plays a vital role in this business, and he dedicates himself to staying up to date with the latest advances in the industry.

Amidst all these different activities he still considers that keeping a Zen mind and way of living is paramount, along with keeping planning and organization high in the priorities list.
